A towed tire-mounted crane is a special type of mobile tire cranes whose chassis design allows for movement via towing, combining the stability of a mobile tire cranes with the flexibility of a towing system.

High Stability: Mobile tire cranes have a wide wheelbase, resulting in high lateral stability. They are typically equipped with a box-type radial underframe and movable counterweights. Large Load Capacity: While the rated lifting capacity is limited by boom strength and overall machine stability, a torque limiter prevents overloading, allowing for the lifting of heavy equipment ranging from tens to hundreds of tons.
