It operates in two modes: stacking and reclaiming. For stacking, bulk material transported by a belt conveyor is unloaded via a tail truck onto a belt conveyor mounted on the boom, where it is dumped from the front end of the boom into the material yard. The operation of the machine, coupled with the rotation and pitching of the boom, shapes the material pile into a neat, trapezoidal shape. Reclaiming is achieved through the continuous rotation of the boom and the bucket wheel. Material is unloaded via a discharge plate onto the counter-rotating boom belt conveyor, from which it is discharged through a hopper located at the center of the machine onto a belt conveyor in the material yard for removal. The operation of the machine, coupled with the rotation and pitching of the boom, enables the bucket wheel to completely remove material from the stockpile.
