Portal cranes are core heavy-duty loading and unloading equipment in modern port terminals. Their lifting and traveling speeds are rationally adjusted, resulting in high operational efficiency and suitability for the high-intensity, continuous operation scenarios of ports. They possess exceptional adaptability, quickly switching between various lifting attachments such as hooks and grabs, enabling them to handle both bulk cargo like coal and ore, and general cargo such as steel and machinery, demonstrating outstanding versatility.
Furthermore, these machines offer excellent safety and energy efficiency, equipped with multiple safety systems including torque limiters, lifting limits, wind and slip prevention devices, and overload alarms, providing real-time monitoring of operational status and mitigating operational risks. Modern models often employ energy-saving electronic control systems, resulting in low energy consumption and low noise levels; some even incorporate dust control designs, aligning with green port construction requirements. With its comprehensive performance advantages, portal cranes have become key equipment for enhancing port cargo throughput capacity and ensuring efficient logistics transfer.
